If you plan to take any Jeff Tompkins course and are new to stock trading, take this one first. Even if you have a background in Forex or something else. The reason is that this course is a gently introduction to both Jeff's methods AND Options, which is used in this course.
The course is not 5 stars because it lacks a few things. It has no money management. As he says in a comment, he's pretty cavalier about his ability to turn around losing positions so I guess that lessens his need to practice money management. The course also leaves some things to common sense or additional info that is available for free elsewhere such as brokerage accounts etc. There is also no clear explanation of when to stop protecting profits. For this you will need to learn more technical analysis or let the market determine when to stop.
The course is not 3 stars because he gives pretty clear steps. You avoid "analysis paralysis" and are guaranteed to be able to get out of bad trades if all hell breaks loose and you act before expiration.
