I had my doubts initially having attempted to learn a language before and failing miserably. This course however exceeded my expectations and I found it a great introduction into the Portuguese language. The premise of doing short focused lessons really resonated with me, as I could do a lesson or two in my coffee break and I could repeat lessons for practice. The key here however is consistency and trying to do at least one lesson a day. I did find some of the lessons a bit impractical as I would have like to learn more “conversational” Portuguese, rather than “tourist” Portuguese, however the focus / explanations on basic sentence structure and the eccentricities of the masculine / feminine were really useful.
